BOG'S BLOG...Well somebody has to do it

Blog EntryI liked this quote I received in a email todayFeb 1, '08 9:10 PM
for everyone

"Each man must act as he thinks best: and ,if he is wrong, so much the worse for him. We stand on a mountain pass in the midst of whirling snow and blinding mist, through which we get glimpses now and then of paths which may be deceptive. If we stand still we shall be frozen to death. If we take the wrong road we shall be dashed to pieces. We do not certainly know whether there is any right one. What must we do? "Be strong and of good courage." Act for the best, hope for the best, and take what comes."- William James

I think it will always be preferable to have certain guidelines in life firmly established though to help us on our way..Religion provides this for most folks. Atheists can always be believers in the philosophy of stoicism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoicism

This has always been one of my favorites, along with "The woods are beautiful, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep."-Robert Frost.
