I'm a bigfoot agnostic who has discussed his existence with folks who are convinced bigfoot really exists. My son even went calling for Bigfoot in the wee hours of the morning with some diehard bigfoot believers while we were on vacation.

I'm actually a global warming skeptic myself. IMHO Peak Oil is self evident. One of the primary reasons I favor USA independence from foreign oil sources is to increase the security of the US military. Energy independence would also help the US balance of trade and ultimately the entire economy.

OK not a Problem Mate ... I do not believe in Green House problem as if you read history .. every 11500 years the globe goes in to a ICE AGE and we are at that 11500 Period now .. also the Temps of other plants have also gone up .. and last time I checked they do not have Cars or Fossil Fuels burning on them ... I am in to EV's because I do NOT like supporting TERRORIST nations and Paying for the WAR on TERROR at the same time.

Blackops,I invited you to join the Peak Oil Issues group since I noticed you'd posted regarding electric vehicles in the past.If you're interested you can join. I see electric vehicles as being part of the solution to the Peak Oil problem

Morning from Japan ... Well Morning here ... I see I am invited to join the Peak Oil group ... Ummmm may I ask why ...

Welcome aboard. Everyone's entitled to an opinion regarding anything .

Thanks for the consideration to join the Peak Oil Issues group.. I really don't know why I was invited since I don't believe anything about Peak Oil or global warming... Were you trying to change my view? My science is just as concrete as your science if not more so on this issue... Global warming and Peak Oil issues are just a vehicle for a huge money grab from the citizens to the few in power.. On June 12th I intend to flip the bird to those perpetrating the great Global Warming hoax by emitting 120 lbs of CO2 in just one day... 3 times my normal carbon foot print..
Here's a valid question for the peak oil people.. Oil is a by product of magma. Who's to say the Sun wasn't once a viable planet just as the Earth but since there wasn't a use for the by product of magma it consumed itself? Or, what if the Sun was a planet inhabited by people and they came to the same conclusions as the current Global Warming fear mongers and peak oil people and stopped using this fuel and THEN the magma consumed the planet? Can you prove these questions to be untrue? Nope.. Just as you can't prove that humans are causing Global Warming and that Peak Oil even exists... I'll think about joining Peak Oil but it probably won't be as a supporter of the issue.. I'll be bringing the other side...

We stayed in a 3 bedroom house that's rented as a cabin that's supposedly haunted. My son swears something invisible laid in bed with him one night. He said he could see the indentation in the mattress but nothing was there. He wouldn't sleep in that room for the rest of our stay.I even saw ghostly green eyes outside my window one night. Maybe it was Bigfoot. ;-) My son went fishing several times and he even went out with some folks who were calling for Bigfoot one night. We drove Talimena drive one day and we went to Beaver's Bend on another day.It was a good mini vacation.

I'd miss that myself. I've actually traced my genealogy back to a scot-irish ancestor in Lancaster county who was born there in 1708.I probably still have distant relatives there.

If you really outrage them they'll simply refuse to help you build a barn.
That's hilarious..... and not too far from the truth. I do miss home when you mention the Amish, though. Nice, quiet, and rural PA. Where the Walmart and most of the local stores have places to hitch up the horses that pull the carriages. Where there's an actual real hardware store left! (Bombergers on Furnace Pike in Lititz) and where people smile and say hello, and wave to you when you drive past them on the road. I miss that. I can't wait until Jon and I go back home. For now, this is where his work is, so unfortunately, this is where we stay.

You're right. When I post a satire blog, I usually have to explain to at least one person, this is not real, it's satire. lol...and this one plainly says where it's from at the top. I love satire, I could read those blogs all day. lol

I'm wondering if we might do that. raised beds here at the house. I want to plant some squash and cucumbers. I ate a really good casserole (squash dressing casserole) the other night at church that was so good. Can't wait to make it here at the house.

Sounds great. We're doing much the same thing at my place.I planted 5 blueberry plants in 1/2 55 gallon plastic drums the last few days. We've also planted about 2 flats of strawberries,2 raspberry bushes and some squash. I've got 2 blackberry bushes,4 fruit trees and another flat of strawberries I need to plant soon.
I've been planting everything in raised beds I've been building. Everytime we build a bed we have to fill it with potting soil and composted wood chips before we plant. My kids hate seeing me buy more landscape timbers. ;-)

Hey, Bog, I had to add myself again to the edible landscaping group. lol...I have had a hard time deciding on how many groups I want to keep up with and deleted some late one night. Decided I still wanted to be on this one. lol...anyway...can't wait for some home grown veggies. I'm hoping hubby makes a small spot here to plant a few things. He and another buddy have a larger garden at the buddy's farm. So far they've planted green beans, potatoes, onions and something else.
